Hope~

Hope is a light that never fails, a flame burning in the darkest night, an elusive feeling that urges you on when, against all reason, you refuse to give up. Hope is among the most abiding of God's gifts.

It has been said that in each life, there comes at least one moment which, if recognized and seized, transforms the course of that life forever. Have there been special moments when hope came to you? What brought hope into your life? Was it your desire for a quiet, grounded, more centered existence? Was it your yearning for a better future in a peaceful world? Or was it a broken heart? Whatever the reason, once it returns, hope restores our optimism that tomorrow can mark a new beginning.

What would bring you hope this day? Perhaps something as simple as caring words from a loving friend, or taking that first step, or another day of sobriety. Whatever form of inspiration will nourish your spirit, hold it with care in loving hands.

If you are concerned about you health, remember that through the eyes of hope, even illness can be seen as a gift, an opportunity to acquire the wisdom born of adversity. Embrace this opportunity, and bind it with your faith. With hope we learn to keep on living our lives courageously and diligently.

If this comes to you as you are entering a new relationship, be mindful to let the lessons you have learned from the past serve you in what is to come. And if your life is moving in a new direction, let yourself feel the hope that accompanies all new beginnings.

Hope is a companion on our journey, one that whispers in our ear: It is going to be better... The darkness is behind you... The daylight has come.

Rather than collapse yourself into thoughts of the future, stay in the present, for considerable hard work is involved in a time of healing and transformation.

Beyond the suffering and oppression that burden our humanity, we lay claim to our inheritance of hope.

For so many, throughout the world, hope is all that remains. Even those who have left everything behind to make a difficult and arduous journey in search of freedom carry with them their hope of a better life.

We have all known periods of hopelessness and despair. It is only when we begin to realize that we can no longer continue living in the old way, and come to believe in something greater than ourselves, that hopelessness turns into hope.

Hope is God's love at work in our lives.

Warriors of the rainbow Native American Lore There was an old lady, from the Cree tribe, named Eyes of Fire, who prophesied that one day, because of the white mans' or Yo-ne-gis' greed, there would come a time, when the fish would die in the streams, the birds would fall from the air, the waters would be blackened, and the trees would no longer be, mankind as we would know it, would all but cease to exist. There would come a time when the "keepers of the legend, stories, culture rituals, and myths, and all the Ancient Tribal Customs" would be needed to restore us to health. They would be mankinds' key to survival, they were the "Warriors of the rainbow". There would come a day of awakening when all the peoples of all the tribes would form a New World of Justice, Peace, Freedom and recognition of the Great spirit. The "Warriors of the rainbow" would spread these messages and teach all peoples of the Earth or "Elohi". They would teach them how to live the "Way of the Great spirit". They would tell them of how the world today has turned away from the Great spirit and that is why our Earth is "Sick". The "Warriors of the rainbow" would show the peoples that this "Ancient Being" (the Great spirit), is full of love and understanding, and teach them how to make the Earth or "Elohi" beautiful again. These Warriors would give the people principles or rules to follow to make their path right with the world. These principles would be those of the Ancient Tribes. The Warriors of the rainbow would teach the people of the ancient practices of Unity, Love and Understanding. They would teach of Harmony among people in all four corners of the Earth. Like the Ancient Tribes, they would teach the people how to pray to the Great spirit with love that flows like the beautiful mountain stream, and flows along the path to the ocean of life. Once again, they would be able to feel joy in solitude and in councils. They would be free of petty jealousies and love all mankind as their brothers, regardless of color, race or religion. They would feel happiness enter their hearts, and become as one with the entire human race. Their hearts would be pure and radiate warmth, understanding and respect for all mankind, Nature, and the Great spirit. They would once again fill their minds, hearts, souls, and deeds with the purest of thoughts. They would seek the beauty of the Master of Life -- the Great spirit! They would find strength and beauty in prayer and the solitudes of life. Their children would once again be able to run free and enjoy the treasures of Nature and Mother Earth. Free from the fears of toxins and destruction, wrought by the Yo-ne-gi and his practices of greed. The rivers would again run clear, the forests be abundant and beautiful, the animals and birds would be replenished. The powers of the plants and animals would again be respected and conservation of all that is beautiful would become a way of life. The poor, sick and needy would be cared for by their brothers and sisters of the Earth. These practices would again become a part of their daily lives. The leaders of the people would be chosen in the old way -- not by their political party, or who could speak the loudest, boast the most, or by name calling or mud slinging, but by those whose actions spoke the loudest. Those who demonstrated their love, wisdom, and courage and those who showed that they could and did work for the good of all, would be chosen as the leaders or Chiefs. They would be chosen by their "quality" and not the amount of money they had obtained. Like the thoughtful and devoted "Ancient Chiefs", they would understand the people with love, and see that their young were educated with the love and wisdom of their surroundings. They would show them that miracles can be accomplished to heal this world of its ills, and restore it to health and beauty. The tasks of these "Warriors of the rainbow" are many and great. There will be terrifying mountains of ignorance to conquer and they shall find prejudice and hatred. They must be dedicated, unwavering in their strength, and strong of heart. They will find willing hearts and minds that will follow them on this road of returning "Mother Earth" to beauty and plenty -- once more. The day will come, it is not far away. The day that we shall see how we owe our very existence to the people of all tribes that have maintained their culture and heritage. Those that have kept the rituals, stories, legends, and myths alive. It will be with this knowledge, the knowledge that they have preserved, that we shall once again return to "harmony" with Nature, Mother Earth, and mankind. It will be with this knowledge that we shall find our "Key to our Survival".

The sun rose on a magical new day...
Over the whole earth they came,
The people of every colour,
Sister, Brother, Father, Mother
Traveling over many a land
People of the Rainbow
Children of the Way,
with a fresh glow
Finding their way
Star within...
More and more joined,
a song for the soul...
A new way to live,
A new way to see,
It happened this way...
And a new song,
It came from within
If you can find the Star,
Within then you will find...
What is... What was...
And what will be... you see,
It happened this way...
from within,
The people of the Way
The Rainbow Tribe...

Saving the world

Listen for the bell, check your wings, and follow the rainbow from your heart. Divine music plays, and new places are discovered.

Many discoveries left unfound,
with scattered clues from the last go round.
Imagination, and pure heart is told,
follow the rainbow to this new gold.

Today I will grow

Sometimes we just need to wake up... Sometimes we need to be... Sometimes all it takes is that little ahhhh haaaa moment!

Focus thought with pure love, and genuine intentions, follow it... let it lead... through the heart, then let it radiate and let go.... A free fall thought, with heart, can lead to miracles being an everyday occurrence, dreams being a reality, and walking on water while flying through the air...

Today is going to be amazing. Today I will take time for myself. Today I will grow.

Faith ~

Today is an opportunity both to renew the commitment to your spiritual journey and rededicate your life to a larger purpose.

We speak of the gift of faith because that is how faith comes to us, a gift. There is no way to buy it, borrow it or prepare for it. After all, how can we prepare for a mystery? Faith is among God's most precious gifts; without it, doubt and fear will surely find us. When faith is absent, life lacks meaning, while in its presence, the bounty of Divine Love is always to be found. The essence of faith is in all things.

One of the purest forms of faith is service, doing God's work on earth. Faith in action is the willingness to deal with life in the sure and certain knowledge that you will learn from your experience, overcome adversity and be healed.

The faith that promotes healing simply asks you to reach out wholeheartedly to receive the gift of God's love, and claim it as your own. St. Paul said that we walk by faith and not by sight. When you walk by faith, it is impossible to doubt God, yourself, you life or what tomorrow brings.

It was Gandhi who said that we must be the change we wish to see in the world. Faith encourages us to believe that we can make a difference - a difference first in ourselves, and then in the world.

Serenity~

Recognize how far you have come along the path of healing. Give thanks to God for the blessings serenity brings. In the past, we hardly knew this peaceful place, with its freedom from want and need. It is through a life lived in serenity that we come to know and understand our closeness to the Divine.

Honesty leads to Serenity, and Patience issues from it. Grief, Anger and Fear are resolved in its embrace, while Trust and Faith are nourished by Serenity and Love thrives in its presence.

There is a place inside our being where serenity dwells. Take time each day to nourish yourself with the comfort to be found there. For it is from this place of tranquility and peace that all service begins. Become familiar with what serenity means in your daily life.

Without Serenity, wounds are slow to heal, while in in its presence, all things are possible. If serenity is absent from your world, and you are still riding the merry-go-round of chaos and denial, ask the Divine for the guidance and strength to face your life with courage. And if you feel your serenity slipping away, know that God will restore it to you through the power of prayer. Pause for a moment and remember above all else to stay present and live your life one day, one moment, at a time. The clear simple message is: Serenity is a practice. Therefore practice serenity.

The beauty and power of serenity are expressed in a prayer adapted from the words of Reinhold Niebuhr, words read and spoken daily by millions of people all over the world:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot
change, the courage to change the things I can, and the
wisdom to know the difference.

This prayer is a gift containing all the elements of Diving Love. When you allow serenity to fill your days and your nights, you have truly begun to heal your life.

Trust ~

Trust is restoration. It calls for rebuilding of belief in yourself, in your life and, if you have fallen away, in your relationship with the Divine.

It has been said that faith without proof, but rather trust without reservation, and that trust, when cared for and respected, encourages the self to blossom. Trust is divine medicine.

Trust a present situation. Embrace the changes you are facing with trust and wisdom.

Know that love grows when trust is present. In relationships of the heart, remember that I love you and I trust you are a bridge for crossing the same stream.

If trust is lacking in your life, consider what you can do to restore it, or to create it where it never was. For trust is the foundation upon which we build our lives and do God's work in the world. However oppressive or painful the moment may seem, have faith and know that, as you heal, you will be able to trust again.

Each time you face the issue of trust, you are being asked to grow. When you push through your fears and trust your feelings, you do grow - and trust grows in you.

Reclaim the lost trust you once cherished and thrived upon. We are born to live our lives in trust. Let no one tell you differently.

Know thyself. Trust and heal thyself.

Persevere in your journey, and trust in your healing process, for both are uniquely yours and as individual as fingerprints and snowflakes.

Remember the wise teacher, the one that speaks from the silence within us.

The breath of heaven is everywhere trust is.

Compassion ~

It has been said that when we have compassion for one another, we shall be of one mind. For in living a compassionate life, we are practicing the Presence of God in a simple and universal way. Take time to show compassion for those we meet on our healing journey.

Forgiveness, Trust and Love, all weave together in the Wholeness to which our nature aspires.

Show your compassion through service.

Have compassion for yourself. Admit to yourself something you have long denied.

Compassion lies between Fear and The Divine. As if to say that Fear, passing through the prism of Compassion, is transformed into the energy and radiance of Love.

To the compassionate self, this is a gentle reminder that the journey to wholeness is just that, a journey. Along the way in your meditations and your prayers, ask to see the world through compassionate eyes.

When we have a question ethically or morally who do we go talk to? Best friend, parent or priest? We are all human and we all make mistakes. How do we know the person we ask advice from is giving us the right words or wisdom? Just because someone has money, power or lots of authority doesn't always mean their advice is right all the time.

When do we start making decisions on our own. Following what is right for us individually? Sometimes we need to believe in ourselves, our abilities and decisions. We need to look deep within to find our own truth. Sometimes life's journey is standing your ground sometimes is questioning ingrained beliefs, sometimes questioning parents, teachers ect... we are all human and make mistakes... Creating your thoughts, creating your conversations, creating your environment, creating healthy relationships... all this is your power - free will. Sometimes we need to use our own discernment, Just because we like most of menu doesn't mean we we have to like every item...

Cherish yourself

STRETCH AND BREATHE... AHHHHHHHHH FEELS SOOOOOOOO GOOD!

Before doing one errand, obligation or chore, put your feet up... take that extra 2 min and relax. Put your hands high in the air and breathe in deeply. Breathe in new higher vibrations and exhale stress and toxic thoughts. Breathe in once more, pure energy, love and rejuvenation and when you breathe out slowly, all negative attachments come right out with that amazing exhale. Lovin the breathing thing. Today is all about our beautiful amazing selves... take a walk and smell the flowers, pampering our body, exercising, taking extra time for yourself. It's ok to indulge once in a while. Live your life, Love the moments in your life, and Cherish yourself.

Sometimes we need to look a little further, sometimes we need to look a little closer

On the outside looking in, inside looking back on the old outside, looking in on the new inside, its a complete transformation.... a complete cycle of newness and fulfilled wonder. Faith is the most magnetic force. Believing in yourself and in others around you. Loving yourself and treating yourself as the delicate... beautiful... and divine being you are. So amazing and talented. We all have the strength and truth in ourselves. Sometimes we need to look just a little further, sometimes we need to look a little closer... There is a controlled erratic benevolence, gracefully and playfully guiding.

Every breath is a new beginning where will this next one take you...

Each and everyone of us are truly divine. Each of us have a sacredness within, a key to our true destiny. Every moment, every breath is new beginning. Choices are put in front us, sometimes tests, sometimes motivators. It is up to us, free will, to grab a hold of opportunity and make your heart soar. Sometimes things never thought of can be the biggest heart soaring moment of your life. Giving is receiving. Giving love, giving your time, giving your true presence in a simple conversation. The simplest of things can turn out to be the building blocks, and sturdy foundation of your amazing journey. Listen, give thanx, a do a little act of random kindness. See what folds before you. Every breath is a new beginning where will this next one take you...
